The ladies of Mu chapter had an amazing fall semester! We participated in other houses' philanthropy events, and we hosted our own, Kappa Kickoff. At Kickoff we raised more money than ever before for our local philanthropy (Coburn Place), and we hosted fraternities around campus in our annual "lip syncs" competition. We also hosted our first ever "Grilled Cheese with KKGs" event, and raised roughly $300. Additionally, we have enjoyed living in the Kastle, hosting Dad's Day, going to Butler football and basketball games, and (as always) bonding with our sisters.

On February 28, 2015, Mu Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma was able to initiate 48 new members into the chapter. I feel so honored and blessed that I was able to walk the beginning journey with these wonderful girls. They participated in bonding events, like Hot Koko & a Movie, Yoga, and Krafting at Kappa, to get to know the different pledge classes. From these different bonding activities, Key Sisters were matched with a new pledge class member on February 13 to be her guide and mentor throughout her journey in Kappa. They also attended a speed-dating event with the seniors to help them meet the older women in the chapter. The members participated in Freshman Skits on February 20 and had so much fun getting to know one another in their own pledge class. They all have already blossomed so much in Kappa, and it has been such a wonderful experience watching them grow. Although I am sad that my position is now coming to an end, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for each one of them!
Congratulations to the Kappa Kappa Gamma Pledge Class of 2015!
